My 3-R Approach to healing your gut. The WHOLE p My 3-R Approach to healing your gut.

The WHOLE person must heal for the gut to function optimally.

This means removing foods that disrupt the gut, like sugar, artificial sweeteners, seed oils, wheat and dairy.

This means addressing your toxic inner thoughts and dialogue, understanding where they came down, and changing the story to one that serves you and your future self.

This means identifying all the root causes through testing and a detailed look at your history.

This means letting go of people pleasing and using your "no button" more.

This means getting trapped energy out of the body through breathwork, meditation, sunlight, joy, and laughter.

It's choosing to give your body what it needs to heal and thrive.

Did you know poor gut health can affect more than Did you know poor gut health can affect more than just your digestion?

Poor gut health can suppress thyroid function. Optimal digestion helps to tame the antibodies associated with autoimmune conditions such as Hashimoto’s and Graves.

Disruptions in gut health, as seen in dysbiosis (an imbalance of gut bacteria), IBS, or leaky gut may reduce your body’s ability to convert T4 into the active T3 hormone. Research has shown that an unbalanced and leaky gut is one of three factors behind every autoimmune disease, including Hashimoto’s and Graves’ disease.

Your intestinal bacteria play a role in vitamin synthesis, digestion of dietary fibers, regulation of your immune response, and mental health. Your microbiota also regulates the homeostasis and development of immune cells inside and outside the gut (i.e has a role in your entire immune system).

When the bacteria in your gut is dysbiotic (imbalanced) and/or there is intestinal permeability, you are prone to inflammation, micronutrient deficiencies, and immune upregulation which can contribute to the development of a thyroid disorder.

PS- yes I see the typo where it says “Frostys” and should say “processed” 🤣

Stress can have a negative impact on the body, inc Stress can have a negative impact on the body, including hormone imbalances. Hormone imbalances can lead to a variety of symptoms and conditions, such as fatigue, mood swings, and infertility. It is important to reduce stress levels to help maintain a healthy hormone balance.

Stress can cause the body to produce higher levels of cortisol, adrenaline, and other hormones.
This can throw off the balance of other hormones, such as estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.

High cortisol levels can cause a range of symptoms, such as insomnia, irritability, and weight gain.
Low estrogen levels can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, hot flashes, and mood swings. Low testosterone levels can cause symptoms such as decreased muscle mass, low libido, and depression.

Lab tests can help to identify any underlying medical conditions that may be causing the hormone imbalance. In addition, stress management techniques, such as mindfulness and deep breathing, can help to reduce stress levels. Regular exercise and getting enough sleep can also help to reduce stress.

Reducing stress levels and making dietary and lifestyle modifications can help to support hormone balance. Certain supplements may also help to support hormone balance, but it is important to consult a healthcare professional (like your RSN coach 😉) before taking any supplements
