Christine Forsythe
Registered and Licensed Dietitian

Christine Forsythe is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with a mission to address the root causes of her client’s symptoms through diet and lifestyle changes.

Christine’s journey to becoming a dietitian started at a young age. Her whole family is in the medical field, so health and wellness are in her DNA.

It wasn’t until after her first year in college, at Oklahoma State, that the power of food took hold in a personal way. Christine learned that she was intolerant to gluten, a protein found in wheat and other grains and that she would have to shift the way she ate completely.

Several years later, after suffering from weight gain, cystic acne, hair loss, and mild depression, Christine was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), a hormonal condition that causes insulin resistance accompanied by inflammation. After receiving this diagnosis, Christine dug even more into her diet and found that there is a way to battle and alleviate her symptoms naturally, and without medication.

Christine understands that food is a powerful tool. She has experience in the medical environment, helping patients maximize the healing process, and has also worked extensively with collegiate athletes, optimizing performance with diet. From meal planning to tailoring recipes to suit an allergy to coming up with healthy snacks that fit your lifestyle, Christine can make it happen.

Whether you are looking to lose weight, optimize performance, heal from an injury, or professional accountability to maintain a healthy lifestyle, Christine is here for you.

Karlei Summerford, MS, RD, LD
Registered Dietitian

Karlei Summerford, MS, RD, LD is a Registered Dietitian committed to providing guidance for her clients about food and lifestyle choices that heal — physically and emotionally.

She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. Driven by her experience in the clinical field she decided to continue her education to earn a Masters of Science in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University where she addressed a variety of symptoms in patients from hormonal imbalances to autoimmune disorders.

Karlei knew at a young age she wanted to pursue medicine. She felt fulfilled most using her knowledge and relationship skills to serve others. It wasn’t until she got deeper into the relationship between ingredients and our bodies during a study abroad experience in France that she realized diet and nutrition were the medicine she was truly passionate about.

Her professional journey was further inspired by her personal one: Close friends were diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome and struggled with eating disorders and depression. She saw firsthand how hard it can be to battle these types of things alone and how tiresome it is to search for a solution, but also, how life-changing it can be when nutrition coaching and education are introduced. She discovered how an active lifestyle and an intuitive diet impacted her own life in a positive way, too.

Now, she’s on a mission to help her clients address the root cause of their symptoms, make lifestyle improvements, and get in touch with their best selves through functional nutrition. Whether you are seeking help in managing a tricky diagnosis or simply looking for a way to maintain healthier choices, Karlei will create a personalized approach to help you achieve and maintain your goals.
